JAPANESE & IRISH CONNECTIONS STRENGTHEN WITH NEW IJCC & DIGITARY PARTNERSHIP

The Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) and Dublin-founded global EdTech company Digitary have today officially announced their new partnership.

IJCC and Digitary are uniting with a joint mission to positively contribute to their shared community, celebrating culture, connections and collective capabilities across Japan.

The Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce aims to be the foremost business network for Irish and Japanese companies & professionals. The Chamber provides a valuable network and platform for groups and individuals, continually growing in strength and popularity nationwide.

Digitary was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 2005. Since then, Digitary has grown to become a world leader in digital certification of academic achievements, and a trusted provider of secure verified documents and data to learners, educational organisations, and employers globally.

The IJCC carries out its mandate in a variety of ways including: organising speaker events, seminars and networking events in Tokyo and elsewhere; lobbying and supporting the enhancement of Ireland-Japan business and trade; and providing a forum in which to raise issues of interest to the Japan-Ireland business community of which Digitary is a passionate supporter.

Recently, Digitary was selected by The Research Consortium for the Sustainable Promotion of International Education (RECSIE) as the preferred technology partner to build and implement a Japanese National Network. This is the very first national digital credentials platform for Japan, providing higher education learners with anytime access to digitised, portable transcripts & credentials online.

Digitary, as a new corporate member, will work collaboratively with IJCC on promoting community connections, advocating for social and professional networking opportunities with a focus on enhancing Japanese and Irish connections.

Pat Ryan, Director, Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce says “The IJCC and Digitary share mutual values and a vision for the future where we can proactively contribute to the community, drawing on our history and heritage. The connections between Japan and Ireland continue to strengthen and grow, enhancing those relationships already in existence and welcoming new opportunities as we expand further.”

“Digitary is delighted to partner with IJCC and work collaboratively to make a positive impact on our shared communities. Digitary is a proud Irish company, founded in Dublin and now with multiple offices globally and an expanding team in Japan, we are thrilled to confirm our commitment to the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce” says James Murray-Beckman, Chief Operating Officer at Digitary.
